I will begin with the end.

I am disappointed. Because Joe and Pat are both very very intelligent, geniuses maybe.
Pat is a brilliant businessman, who built "the hub" that all the other Wimberly Mafia guys work their seminars on. I respect him for positioning himself where his is with his "unseminar". And that he developed the concept of "portable empire". It is truly genius marketing. It appeals to a hungry niche, that wants to spend money.
Think about it, Pat built "the hub". That's the most powerful piece in the wheel. All the other guys can't effectively market and do a 2 day seminar, but Pat can, and he has the others there to do their trainings.
Pat identified and cornered the best market out of them all (except for Joe).
Then there is Joe.
Joe Vitale (mrfire)has written tons of stuff that demonstrates to me that he is intelligent, writes good copy, and has great business savy. He also is a tremendous giver, and willing to help you succeed. I have been blessed to spend time with him, and know him.
However.... What the heck happened?
This Russian Doll thing totally blows. It's worse to me than what happened with Ho Oponopono. If you trained with his teacher, "I Haleakala" (Dr Hew Len - Who does NOT want to be called Dr Hew Len) you got a much simpler, much LESS MARKETABLE Ho Oponopono.I really enjoyed training with "I Heleakala" in Philadelphia. He stated there, well, I won't say what he said. But Ho Oponopono is MUCH SIMPLER and to me MUCH MORE INTERESTING in it's pure form than in the "Zero Limits" form.
So today, I look around....
I see people who need help, who need guidance, who need experts.
People who might be able to take effective action and change the world. People who need some guidance, training and mentors.
They need people like Joe Vitale who can teach them how to focus on their dreams, and how to WRITE COPY that will help make the dreams come true.
They need people like Pat who can teach AMAZING BIZ BUILDING TACTICS, positioning and strategy.
And those two, Pat and Joe, CHOOSE to sell some MORE stupid freaking downloads of "CLEANING MUSIC" (total bullshit) and "russian secrets" - a printout of a paper doll.
The world needs THE REAL ABILITIES of Pat and Joe, not those two selling a goofy freaking doll.

While I would argue with your "genius" assessment, I agree with you that at the very least, Joe and Pat have both made significant contributions to the world of Internet marketing. I am sure they have helped many people. But the Russian wish dolly...I mean...paper doll...is over the top. However, it is not without precedent, woo-wise. Let's not forget the Psychic Demand web site. It's the same kind of hokey stuff. Anything to make a few bucks...
ReplyDeleteI've been getting to the same place with Joe for awhile now. I can't read his stuff without wondering how he is going to try and make a buck off me next. However, Pat and Joe do give lots to learn, and I wouldn't be where I am now without their knowledge and pushing.

It seems to me that what Joe Vitale has to offer the world has become less and less since he met that daft Australian woman.
